Why we exist
News arrives quickly; meaning takes longer. PATA works in that gap—placing history beside events, method beside numbers, and lived experience beside technology.
This is not a personal showcase. It is a publication with an independent editorial identity, centred on public interest, evidence and language people can use.
How we work
Each explainer begins with a human question. Claims, sources, context, uncertainty, possible harm and practical next steps are then examined separately. Live panels expose provider, timestamp and likely delay.
- Prioritise primary material and verify independently with additional sources.
- Label news, analysis, opinion and evergreen explanation distinctly.
- Show the time and reason for material corrections instead of silently erasing errors.
Bangla first, English in full
Bangla is not the final translation step here; it is a language of original thought. Technical terms retain useful English equivalents without turning Bangla into machine-like prose. The English edition carries the same evidence and editorial duty.
Independence and accountability
Advertising, partnerships and sponsorship cannot purchase editorial decisions. Relevant conflicts will be disclosed beside the work. For personal data, children, disaster survivors and vulnerable sources, the first question is not whether publication is possible, but whether it is necessary.
